CHRISTINE + STEPHEN

TGI-almost-F, everyone! I am so, so, SO excited to share this beautiful engagement session with you today. Last Friday, I met up with Christine and Stephen in Old City Philadelphia, where spring was everywhere: fresh green grass sprouting, new buds on the trees, birds chirping, and so many people out and about to enjoy the beautiful, sunshiny weather! It was ahhhhh-mazing.

Christine and Stephen met their freshman year at Widener University and they never looked back! Stephen, an officer in the United States Army, recently returned from his deployment to Afghanistan, so what better way for us to celebrate his safe return than to document their love story?! It was so much fun spending my evening with these two!

Christine and Stephen, I cannot wait for your special day!!!

Enjoy! xo

While strolling through Old City, we stopped in the cutest little coffee shop called Menagerie Coffee. If you're in the neighborhood, make sure you stop in!

So many beautiful blooms everywhere we turned!

For real, buds and blooms EVERYWHERE!

Would you LOOK at the gorgeous sunset light that was peeking through the city buildings?!

CAMILLE + ROGER: ENGAGEMENT SESSION

I have had the tremendous pleasure of knowing Camille for the better half of a decade now. She is an insanely talented pianist + vocalist who makes up 1/2 of the local musical duo J2. (The other 1/2 of J2, John, dates my cousin Samantha... which is how I originally met this sweet girl!) Roger popped the question to his longtime love and high school sweetheart on Christmas Eve. (Side note: I would be fibbing if I told you I wasn't anxiously waiting to hear from them from the second I saw they were engaged. Oh, the delight when I received the inquiry for their August nuptials!)

On an unusually warm February afternoon, we got together for their engagement session which was filled with so much laughter, silliness, and love (oh, and a little bubbly, too!). When Camille and I first sat down to discuss their wedding, she asked me if it would be weird to take engagement photos in their apartment. I geeked out a bit, because it was brilliant, honest, and unique. Twenty, 30, 40 years from now, they want to look back and remember where it all began, in their sweet little house apartment in Dunmore. So, we spent the day making pancakes, listening to Jack Johnson, snuggling on the couch (well, they did, haha!), and roaming around Roger's beautiful family property to soak up the last bit of sunshine that day.

I hope you enjoy a few highlights from what was a sweet and super-duper-fun afternoon with these crazy-in-love kids!

xo, Mindy
